LED Window Light Wall Usage Guide
We’re thrilled to offer two incredible LED window light walls in ALL our Studios, designed to mimic natural light for a bright and professional look in your photography. These light walls are versatile and easy to use, but due to their value and functionality, we kindly ask that all renters follow these usage guidelines to ensure they remain in excellent condition.
Bringing Daylight - All the Time
How to Use the LED Light Walls:
- Power On/Off:
- Use the on/off switch located on the side of the light wall to activate or deactivate it.
- Brightness Control:
- Adjust the brightness to your desired level with the dial located next to the power switch.
- Mobility:
- The light walls are equipped with wheels for easy repositioning within the studio space. Please avoid lifting or dragging them.
- Camera Settings:
- To minimize flickering, be sure to turn your camera’s flicker reduction setting ON (refer to your camera’s manual if needed). I have not always had this setting on and it works great I have never experienced any issues when not using this setting.
Important Studio Policies:
- Placement:
- Light walls must remain in the studio they are assigned to (Studio B or Studio C). They are not to be removed or used in other studios.
- Do not plug the light walls into outlets behind the bed, as this could cause damage to cords or outlets.
- Before leaving, ensure the light walls are returned to their designated spot within the studio.
- Safety:
- Children are not allowed to climb on or play with the light walls, the curtains, or any part of the fixtures. This is for their safety and to protect the equipment.
- Any misuse, such as climbing or rough handling, will result in a $200 fee in addition to costs related to repairs or replacement.
- Power Down After Use:
- Ensure the light walls are powered off before you leave the studio.
- Curtain Care:
- The light wall includes curtains, they should be left clean, intact, and undisturbed. Any stains or tears will incur a cleaning or replacement fee. Please lift the curtains when rolling the wall around.
Additional Protections:
- The LED light walls are extremely fragile and represent a significant investment in our studio. If damage occurs beyond normal wear and tear, renters will be held responsible for the full repair or replacement cost.
- No food or drinks are allowed near the light walls to prevent accidental spills or stains.
- Do not attach props, decorations, or other materials to the light walls, as this can cause damage.
- Please make sure you are using the outlet closest to where you want to place the wall, this insures that the cord is not tugging from the box.
By adhering to these guidelines, you’ll help us maintain a professional, top-quality space for all our clients to enjoy. Thank you for respecting our equipment and ensuring that these light walls continue to enhance your sessions!

Confetti Reminder
Confetti Usage Policy for the Studio
We want to give our renters opportunities to bring their creative visions to life, and we understand that confetti can add a fun and celebratory touch to photoshoots. However, due to the potential for mess and equipment damage, we have strict guidelines for using confetti in the studio. We still do not allow Glitter for any reason. The confetti add-on fee is $25.00
Confetti Policy Overview:
- Permission Required:
- Renters must request permission in advance to bring any type of large confetti into the studio. No confetti (of any type) is permitted without prior approval.
- Glitter or small confetti is strictly prohibited at all times due to the difficulty of cleaning and the risk of equipment damage.
- Cleaning Fee:
- Approved use of large confetti will require the renter to pay an additional cleaning fee to cover professional cleanup services.
Why Confetti Is Allowed with Permission
I used large confetti during a photoshoot to take example shots showcasing the new LED light walls in action. The confetti added a playful, celebratory touch to the images, demonstrating the versatility of the studio for creative sessions. To ensure the space was returned to its original pristine condition, I hired a professional cleaning service to handle the cleanup afterward. This process made it possible to use confetti without impacting the studio's cleanliness for future renters (Studio Owner) - For reference the additional cleaning was $150.00
Additional Requirements for Confetti Use:
- Confetti must stay within the rented studio space and may not come into contact with sensitive equipment, such as the LED light walls, curtains, or props.
- The renter is responsible for ensuring no confetti spreads to other areas of the studio.
- Confetti cannot be thrown near areas where it could potentially cause damage, such as outlets, cords, or furniture.
Non-Compliance Fees:
- Using confetti without prior permission or failing to pay the cleaning fee will result in additional charges for cleaning or damage repairs.
We hope this policy allows renters to get creative while respecting the studio and equipment. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or to request approval for your session!
