Freezes, Ice & Snow
The studio will not "close" when ice hits Texas, we will remain open. So, if you have a booking & decide not to reschedule it will be at your own risk. We do not salt the front of our suite or the back, the city does do the roads & sidewalks usually. Wild Oak is not responsible for injuries if renter decides to continue with reservation with icy conditions.
If Northwest ISD has school closures, we will waive the reschedule fee - if they remain open we do not waive the fee.
How to reschedule for Icy Conditions:
- Fill out the reschedule request form below. Please note that it does take us time to go through these & although you add your desired date it is not a guarantee.
- Once you fill out the form & we are able to get to your booking, we will cancel your booking & in that cancellation email is where you will get a code. If NWISD is closed there will be a code with no fee. If they are open there will be a code with the standard reschedule fees. (see those below)
- Inclement weather reschedules have 30 days to re-book with your code
- Code can only be used once - and on the exact same time & studio that you had booked previously.
Cloudy Days, Storms etc.
We understand that when renting a studio can be stressful when you don't know how the light is during a rainy day. Here at Wild Oak, we provide you with all the necessary tools to have a successful session even on these bad weather days. Each studio is equipped with a 12x12 LED window, Studio A is lined with large windows and even on stormy days lets in great soft light with the shades up & curtains pulled back. We offer constant lights that are free to use as well during your rental (in the prop room).
Wild Oak's standard reschedule policy applies for all bookings on days such as these.
